To your aid is our stock ranking system - FF Stock Rank - that currently ranks more than 2,000 listed US companies/stocks along quality and sentiment dimensions. The stocks are assigned ranks from #1 to #5, from 'Strong Buy' to 'Strong Sell'. You can use the ranking to find buy and sell candidates for your stock portfolio. Read more.

We have also developed a number of sophisticated investment strategies for your use. These investment strategies use FF Stock Rank for stock selection, they span from conservative to aggressive, some incorporate merely long stock positions, some with options and others that use hedging (i.e. you can in effect create your own long/short equity hedge fund). Stock Ranking

We offer two ranking models:

  • FF Quality Rank. This ranking scores every company based on 'quality' factors. The factors are in areas such as sales and earnings growth, return on equity, profit margins, debt positions. High scores are typically determined for solid companies with strong balance sheets and financial statements.

  • FF Sentiment Rank. This ranking scores every company based on 'sentiment' factors. The factors are in areas such as earnings estimates, price momentum, analysts' ratings. High scores are given companies that are experiencing good sentiment/momentum, i.e. companies that are in favor in the investment community, companies that investors and analysts approve of.
